This is very distasteful and crosses boundaries of civility and acceptable language. Unfortunately, in trying to be funny, these guys come across as being rude and disrespectful, crossing every known line of decency. I found this painful to watch. Toke’s story is hers to tell, Mr. & Mr. Angry Men , please fly away…

These men are exposing their level of ignorance nd stupidity. How can they be calling toke names like they have personal hatred for her. Yes they believe a man can have many women in an intimate relationship the same time. And to them it’s fine the women should accept it and keep calm. I can’t listen to such men cos the’ve got nothing to offer. Meanwhile the truth is they are seeking for cheap publicity.

“Two incredibly stupid men on Battabox”. i almost puked watching this…couldn’t watch till the end. Did this thing just call Toke a blank head? You’re getting your 5mins of cheap fame from a blank head who is literally making a lot of money from something that was nothing short of a national disgrace?and what does that make you?how much have you made?he couldn’t even afford to buy the book, he read the pirated copy. This mumu said she’s setting a bad precedent by telling what happened in her bedroom.why shouldn’t she tell it?of course, the times are changing, women will no longer suffer in silence and allow irresponsible men like you get away with anything and everything. Tuck in your little bruised ego and get with the programme.

P.S: And for the ladies dating or planning to marry these two agbayas, i don’t think the red flag will get any redder than this.

Simply put, men will see this differently and women will see this differently too. Those of you insulting these two gentlemen, I guess now you know how it felt when Toke had everything to say about Maje. So its ok for her to talk all that crap about a man, make money from it and even brag about her achievements with the book, but you guys have a problem with this video? Abeg park well. PLEASE GET IT INTO YOUR SKULLS THAT SOME PEOPLE DO NOT SEE ANYTHING GOOD ABOUT THIS BOOK AND I AM ONE OF THEM REASON WHY I AGREE WITH THIS MEN.

@ Jos Boy- Mate, clearly when God was giving people brain and common sense you were at the back of the queue. Please do the entire human race a favour and don’t procreate lest you pass on your very questionable wisdom to your sprogs. I won’t bother with you, you’re one huge douche bag anyway. Anuofia!

I watched the first two minutes with a male colleague. His conclusion? “They are certainly drunk”. I will take his word for it.

It’s quite sad that these 2 angry men’s views actually represents the views of many Nigerian men that may or may not have read Toke’s book.

Many of them compliment, respect and defend Maje for having simultaneous multi-partnerships, as these 2 have said because ‘all men do’. I don’t believe all men do. Our women deserve better and should learn to build themselves up so that they do not have to depend on men like Maje. Our women also need to learn to understand that such behaviour should not be accepted but shamed. If they don’t do or understand any of these things, they will jump throw hoops trying all sorts to keep men that fall short by a million miles, just like Toke did with Maje.

This review on Toke’s book is so sad and disappointing and I have no respect for any man with such mentality.

I can boldly say that this two are product of a broken home. they need to be given an orientation that women will no longer fold there arms and allow men to cheat on them as it has stop becoming the norms of the society that the men rule the world. the new trend now is that you cheat on me and i do the same so that you can no how hurtful it can be.

Exactly my opinion on this so called Onbecoming book….the book clearly states that all she wants is to bring Anita and Make down….KoleWork!!! There is nothing for woman out there to learn from her book. She was naive and wanted to show the calabar girl that she is stronger, oh well now you guys know, don’t MESS with ëm.

Honestly, I never comment on these things but I just think this is absolutely distasteful. One of them hasn’t even read the book and wants to provide a critic. I am always open to criticism but this just came across as an uninformed attack, which is just borderline harassment and also a continued reminder of the unequal gender biases in many of our societies.
They should title this video “two drunk fools” because that is what they sound like.

I cut it off immediately when he said he hadn’t read the book. So, why are you having commentary based on what others had to say? Abeg, shift! NEXT!!!!

    Dear Nigerian young women,
I hope you all would start working tirelessly on yourself.
I hope you become empowered and take charge of your own life so you wouldn’t need these men who bring you down constantly so they can feel like kings.
I hope you learn to love and validate yourself so you wouldn’t need validation from men and even women.
I hope you learn to love and accept your bodies, every inch of you, yes including that flaw you hate, your body is more than just pretty!
I hope you become bold and strong, leaving no room for violence be it emotional, physical or sexual.
I hope you learn to speak up! Do not conceal your pain in order to look good on the outside.
I hope you learn to SHUT OUT men who don’t empower, encourage, respect and love you like you desire to be.
You are more than just your appearance, you are more than just a sexual gratification, you are more than just the meal you prepare, you more than just a person that brings another person to life
    You have a purpose.
    You are special!
    You are important!
    You should be valued!
    Chiamaka barbara Ukwuegbu.

She didn’t say “every Nigerian man”, she simply said “Nigerian men” and since you are saying “most Nigerian” then you are proving her right, coz in instances where there a majority then generalisation is appropriate.
