The Royal Family gets an Ugly Sweater Makeover for Christmas at London’s Madame Tussauds

Ever wondered what the royals would look like in ugly Christmas sweaters? Now we know!

Madame Tussauds of London is behind the glorious and eerily realistic festive photo – of Princess Kate Middleton, Princes William and Harry, and even HRH Queen Elizabeth herself decked out in a crop of delightfully ugly Christmas sweaters – unveiling a special holiday collection of its royal family wax figures.

They did get the royals’ permission to disgrace their stately images with all manner of gingerbread and penguins in the name of charity: Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day, coming up on December 16, urges Britons to don their tackiest holiday garb and and make donations to the organization.

What greater inspo than Kate and Will’s double-sweater, or the Queen matching her look to one of her precious corgis dogs?
