Lagos Estate & Street Residents at Loggerheads over Construction of Fence in the Middle of the Road | WATCH
Residents of Peninsula Estate and Engr. Ehizhokale John Street in the Sangotedo area of Lagos State are at loggerheads after the Estate erected a fence, blocking the major road to the street in defence of what they call private infrastructure.
The residents of the street are lamenting the action as alternative routes are dangerous and are destroying their vehicles.
The Estate residents claim that the street residents were asked to pay N350,000 each, as against N1,000,000 they (Estate residents) paid to build the roads.
The residents on the street are calling on the State government to act and resolve the problem.
