Must Watch! Eku Edewor, Gbemi Phillips & Vimbai Mutinhiri join Cornelia O’Dwyer for a New Episode of “Chick Chat Live”

On the first segment of this episode, guests Eku Edewor, Gbemi Phillips and Vimbai Mutinhiri join the host of the show, Cornelia O’Dwyer, to discuss balancing ‘Your Work & Your Private Life’. They address setting physical, social and emotional boundaries in the workplace. They also address how far talent can take you in a crowded marketplace and how long being too circumspect about private affairs can work for you.

The Chick Chat Hot Topic of the day is “Stooping to conquer”. The story deals with a lady who has been asked by her mother-in-law to call her brother-in-law who is the same age as her, uncle. She soon finds that her husband doesn’t think it is a big deal and worries what else they may spring on her.

Its ironic regarding that this panel are in their 30’s. You clearly see how they view social media.
Social media is really not as serious as people make it out to be.
It’s interesting how people like @eku feel like they are creating this mystery. When really it isn’t that deep. People in general just like to nose around. Whether you are Eku or Lola. What they are saying here is that we need to portray this seamless image. Which Nigerians love to do. And they got it wrong. Even Queen B needed to join instagram so she can be part of the day to day conversation.

Hmmmmm to the woman that is to call her husbands bro uncle???????? i can say what rubbish what nonsense….lol…its not such a big deal call my brother in law bigT cos its a show of respect. by the way this panel is filled up with single women right??? how can a married woman get advice from single women…its like a sailor asking advice from an airplane pilot on how to sail a boat ….unless they have walked in your shoes they cannot give you good advice.
by the way in the 1st 2nd years of marriage you will learn new things about your husband and he will learn certain things about you that you wont even see as a big deal.
pick your battles Vimbai Mutinhiri…so on point

Why is ‘advice’ based on marital status. I watched for the first time and it seemed like a casual what would you do conversation. I’m married but only been for 6months. your statement suggests single women are airheads and you become smarter the minute you have an engagement ring on your finger.
As wisdom instructs a man in the smallest matters, so it is useful for a man’s direction in all weighty affairs. My single friends aren’t as jaded as my married friends so I prefer their counsel to be honest. When will we stop shaming singledom.
