I remember watching the first alakada and loving it!!
This one screams trying too hard, and the trailer is just not it. If you like pack all the plenty popular names, trash will still be trash.
Look at Jenifa’s diary, and see the consistency with each series. That’s how it should be done.

That’s not a nice thing to say.Give her credit for effort.Left to me jennifa’s diary can be too boring a times. The fact that Toyin merged English and Yoruba actors together gave the film an edge.Well done Toyin

your name is Christian sister, see how you are spitting on peoples’ hustle. There is a way to give a constructive criticism without out rightly addressing it as trash. Go and act, produce or direct your film make we see.

@Christian Sister- you’re definitely far from being a “Christian Sister”. Don’t be too quick to judge, at least watch the movie or show before passing any biased decision on it. Yes i agree it seems a little overwhelming with all the popular faces, but give her props for even attempting it. Jenifa is in her own lane of entertainment and breaking boundaries. I dislike the fact- we do compare and contrast with all our celebrities and artist in Nigeria. Just be supportive if you like a particular artist/celebrity and don’t condemn that ones you don’t favor their crafts. Ms Funke and Ms Toyin are both achieving great amount of success within the media/entertainment industry and that only makes them superb.

Try to be Christ like as your name implies wait till you watch the movie before dismissing her efforts. Objective criticism is when you watch the movie and point out what the producer needs to improve on or why you don’t like the movie. I am in the arts too and it is always painful when i see people so dismissive of a book, painting, song, movie etc. You can help the artiste improve his craft by giving unbiased feedback. Do not sugar coat, but by all means restrain from rubbishing someone else’s effort.

The original should have been the only one, no reloaded rubbish, and I thought at the end of the original the rich boy and her fell in love.
