President Muhammadu Buhari is to proceed to London on Sunday night for follow-up medical consultation with his doctors.

His Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, disclosed this in Abuja on Sunday.

“He had planned to leave Sunday afternoon, but decided to tarry a bit, due to the arrival of 82 Chibok girls who arrived Abuja earlier in the day. The President wishes to assure all Nigerians that there is no cause for worry. He is very grateful for the prayers and good wishes of the people, and hopes they would continue to pray for the peace and unity of the nation,” Adesina said.

According to the presidential aide, the length of the President’s stay in London will be determined by the doctors, saying that government will continue to function normally under the able leadership of the Vice President.

“President Buhari has transmitted letters about the trip to the Senate and the House of Representatives, in compliance with Section 145 (1) of the 1999 Constitution,” he added.

President Buhari had travelled to London in January for a similar check up. He returned on 10 March, after 51 days.

Last year June, the President also travelled to check an ear infection.

I have said before and I’ll say it again. This is an embarrassment. Embarrassing Embarrassing Embarrassing Why on Earth should the President of the Republic of Nigeria who should have access to the Country’s best healthcare team and facilities within Aso Rock itself need to fly out for medical care? How the heck is an everyday Nigerian supposed to trust anything about their healthcare? Well all you British intelligence Agency and CIA informants theives liars and power hungry manipulators that destroyed your land and people run run to the people whose land and people you helped with your greed for money and power. Whose healthcare systems are thriving from the Nigerians you pushed into these countries. Run run the only one of you dens of power goons that was any good was Yaradua probably b/c he didn’t even stay in office long till you western informants thinking he would side with the people to overturn this global colonization we’re in killed him off. Leaders without an ounce of idea that Lead means to see ahead to mold what your people encounter choose which paths your people take , be the maker of the future they are to encounter lead from in front not behind.

The blood of the innocent “dogs and baboons” will not give you the desired peace. Except innocent human beings did not die on the strength of your utterances. You were beating the drum of war, now, the war of ill health is ravaging your body. In your very before the office you desperately wanted is being run by others in your life time. Buhari, you see ya life?

Mr Buhari please stop using our money for your health care, as far as I am concerned you are not resigning just so you have all the resources available at your disposal to jet out of the country any time you want to be treated by the best doctors as president. It’s over for you please do the needful sir. Thank you

Maybe not the doctors but the system.

Also, maybe his personal doctor used to be based in Nigeria before he relocated to London. Speculation

No phone calls, no texts, no laptops, no visitings

Just him, taking his medications prescribed by his doctors, and eating good meals as assigned by his qualified nurses

Of course, his wife will be with him

Maybe read the newspapers, his Koran and good publications of books

His wife can read to him as well

    He will get well

It’s very shocking to see the level of hatred people possess. Regardless of our personal grievances towards this government or our President, we should be able to maintain some level of decorum.

This is a human being for goodness sake! Your leader (whether you voted him in on not). Does he have faults? Yes…so do you. should he be accountable? Yes…so should you ( to the people you report to). But when things reach the level of a person’s health we should be careful how we speak. I’m not saying we should excuse inadequacies but please be courteous that is all.

The president has the right to be SLCK and the right to go for treatment but has no right to hold Nigeria hostage. This is no democracy were people are being cornered and Subjected to unescessary hardship and suffering still section of the country are singing praise of the president. Thank God AM an Igbo man
No matter how Many checkup the president under go He will never come back to his Senses
