The most important place to preach about domestic violence is the church, pastors should start preaching and advicing couples against. The devil has another agenda now and that is targeting marriages so the earlier pastors start preaching about marriage issues the better.

She made so much sense in this video, is not that people see marriage as an achievement it is more of the excitement of leaving your parents house being called a Mrs that gets people more. i still don’t understand why somebody will not have a source of income either male or female, even if it is selling groundnut, you are a human being first before any other thing, please that house wife work no be am. You should have something doing no matter how small. We also need to emphasize on the HUSBAND LOVE YOUR WIVES more because i don’t think you will inflict injuries on someone you love. You will preferably leave the house angrily not beat her. SAY NO TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE..

Merely asking a victim of domestic violence to ‘pray about it’, is like seeing someone standing on the road in the path of an oncoming car, and instead of shouting at them to get out of the way or pushing them out of the way yourself, asking them to stand there and pray that the car comes to a stop. In the same way that you don’t know the mindset of the driver, or whether the car even has brakes, you cannot guarantee that domestic violence won’t kill the victim. Pastors need to start being deserving of their ‘Shepherd’ title, and start actually protecting their flock!
