Hey BellaNaijarians,

We’ve officially kicked off a weekly segment born of our love for movies and series, titled BN Movie Feature.

This Saturday we’re featuring a 1996 classic, Domitilla.

The movie stars Anne Njemanze, Kate Henshaw, Enebeli Elebuwa, Sandra Achums, Charles Okafor, Ada Ameh and was directed by Zeb Ejiro.

The Synopsis

Domitilla and her friends Judith (Kate Henshaw) and Jenny (Sandra Achums) are street hawkers living in the fast lane. Her life changes when she meets a high profile politician (Enebeli Elebuwa) and he makes her his mistress. But her new found bubble quickly bursts and her world turned upside down when the politician is found dead in his hotel room after a night with her.

Just look t their acting, so original and natural. These days, I’m just not sure what it’s all about. I truly enjoyed watching, or shall I say “re-watching” this. Thank you BN.

Also love their dresses, really classic pieces. Is it me or does Anne share some resemblance with Tonto?

No oh! Anne’s beauty is exceptional. I can’t believe she dropped out of the game. She was the it girl back then and a great actress too. Life can be mean though.
