Illegal is not just a fashion film. It is a visual experience exploring sexuality, gender fluidity, and nonconformity from a contemporary African perspective through fashion and fantasy.
Shot in Lagos Nigeria, this 5-minute video is the brain child of visual creative and stylist Daniel Obasi.
His first fashion film Embers of Bloom which was inspired by female friendship and the fantasy of becoming someone else through fashion was critically acclaimed and received a lot of recognition even from international fashion agencies.
