“They raping us in silence” Ycee calls out Michael Ugwu of Sony West Africa

Earlier today, Nigerian musician Ycee shared a thread on Twitter, which he said was helpful to everyone, especially young artists.

In the series of tweets, the Jagaban crooner called out Michael Ugwu of Sony Music Entertainment West Africa, accusing him of treating artists badly and making away with their money.

Yes but of course BN protects her friend and will probably delete this comment like she did her wedding post when shit hit the fan

They are divorced, not married anymore BTW but I digress, ycee could have handled this a more mature way

When will these “celebrities” learn to settle or handle issues off social media? I don’t get it.

Use your brain and see the obvious fact that he decided to put it on social media because he wanted to “speak out” and have everyone know about it. All you dummies always whining about social media like you think you really know everything going on in the lives of celebrities.

@Abk I get your point but (and as a lawyer I probably shouldn’t be saying this but hey…) I have found that, after efforts to settle in private have failed, sometimes the court of public opinion brings quicker and even fairer resolution than the court of competent jurisdiction, in Nigeria at least.

People just need to be sure not to commit slander or libel while airing their “what are you thinking” on social media.

      You’re just a paid hater.
Who paid you to say shit like that about something you know nothing about?
How do you know about his business with iroko, and his marriage. Did you marry with him or did you work with him in iroko to know the truth about what went on?
Pls stop being a false witness.

Iz a disease around the entertainment space in Nigeria. Ask those who work in Nollywood about royalties. Who can forget Omoni and Jude? Ask those who work for Ebony Life? Go to the cinemas to screen your films. Well, if Bella allows this comment. In this country, it is quick money, exploit everyone!

Ebony Life ke? What happened? Are they not paid well and treated well? I almost joined the company some months back. Didn’t accept an invitation for interview. Got a great salary offer elsewhere.
