Liz Osho on leaving London, Marriage, & 2018 - BellaNaija

Head Strategist at Some Solutions Liz Osho on her Instagram has shared what an immense year 2017 has been, and her plans for the coming year – 2018.

She shared a photo of herself and wrote about how she left London for Lagos in search of greener pastures, and how she continues to learn in marriage. She wrote:

The accidental CEO! 5 years ago, I packed up all my things from London and moved to Lagos looking for greener pastures. How ironic hey? When most people are looking for ways to escape the country, I moved back…with a pocket full of dreams!! If you could sum up 2017 in one word what will it be? Mine will be #GROWTH, in every sense of the word! What a roller coaster of a year, where I must have let people down, but many people let me down too. But we still flourished, thrived and having a blast along the way. This year made it more resolute in my mind that one can achieve ANYTHING one puts their mind to. My growth game has been on another level! I managed to let go, let live, and absolve myself of resentment and focused more on gratitude. I remain joyful, seeking only my own approval, claiming and basking in my strengths, and seeing my weak spots as places for others to shine with their strengths!
If I thought I learnt a lot in the first year of marriage, the 2nd year was more intense, but really brought us closer, and I’m so grateful to God for blessing me with my life-long partner ——— I deepened my trust and Faith in God, (I am the queen of worry, and I was determined not to let anxiety rule my life) I learned to live and let live. I learned to worry less, and choose Peace over a heart full of turmoil. When challenges arise which they always will, I just rested assured that God’s got me! .————— I deepened my friendships in 2017 – this year has been my best year for Friendships EVER. I worked on being the kind of friend that I wanted and it works a charm!! I finally saw, appreciated, and I’m so thankful for those that really matter! .
————— I brought in and strengthened my business partnerships, building a blessed team that will continue to make work a joy in 2018 .
————— I continue to live with integrity in mind always. Integrity rules the world! Integrity will connect your dots!! I have soooo much planned for 2018, and I truly cannot wait to birth all these endless possibilities, so help me God. …————— How will you describe 2017 for you? Photography: @emmanueloyeleke
