Donald Duke, Oyinlola attend Launch of Obasanjo's Coalition for Nigeria - BellaNaija

Former Cross River and Osun State Governors Donald Duke and Oyinlola Olagunsoye were in attendance during the launch of the Coalition for Nigeria (CN) movement, The Cable reports.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo had in a letter appealing to President Muhammadu Buhari not to seek for a 2nd term, touted the CN as “the way out” for Nigerians. He wrote:

This Coalition for Nigeria will be a Movement that will drive Nigeria up and forward. It must have a pride of place for all Nigerians, particularly for our youth and our women. It is a coalition of hope for all Nigerians for speedy, quality and equal development, security, unity, prosperity and progress. It is a coalition to banish poverty, insecurity and despair. Our country must not be oblivious to concomitant danger around, outside and ahead. Coalition for Nigeria must be a Movement to break new ground in building a united country, a socially-cohesive and moderately prosperous society with equity, equality of opportunity, justice and a dynamic and progressive economy that is self-reliant and takes active part in global division of labour and international decision-making.

The movement, according to The Cable, was launched on Wednesday, with Duke and Oyinlola in attendance.

So these stale old thieves think they can deceive us with this their coalition piece of shit. I laugh in Kanuri. We are tired of you people. Are your unborn descendants not settled enough? What is your vision for the country? What is your agenda and how do you plan to navigate the country’s resources and ingrained systematics to achieve it? What are your plans for primary healthcare, education, technological advancement, industrialisation, power, infrastructure, unemployment, terrorism and far right fundamentalism, doing business and the myriad of problems and shortcomings we face. Oh, I guessed right, of course you’ve got no plans. No blueprint. No workable economic growth and recovery plans. Why do y’all feel the need to continue to rob Nigeria of peace and prosperity? Is this a curse or what? Blood of Christ.

Are you willing to lead us yourself? If not, there must be a leader. So stop radio talk and let us see what we have in this new “party or what do I call it now??

@Olori always yarning nonsense. Ofcourse you need experience. All we ask for are people who can lead. People who will hit the ground running not some novice(s) that will take us back 20 years. So, it is going to be a mix of new and old. Certainly not Buhari and his band of thieves.
