Actors Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum have announced that they will be separating after 9 years of marriage.

The couple who have a daughter, Everly, together, released a joint statement saying their split is amicable.

“…just two best-friends realizing it’s time to take some space,” the couple, both 37, said in the statement.

Read the statement below:

Hey world! So…

We have something we would like to share.

First off, it feels odd that we have to share this kind of thing with everyone, but it’s a consequence of the lives we’ve chosen to lead, which we also happen to be deeply grateful for.  We’re living in an incredible moment in time, but it’s also a time where truth can easily get distorted into “alternative facts.” 😉 So we want to share the truth so you know that if you didn’t read it here then it’s most certainly fiction.

We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple.  We fell deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together. Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths for now. There are no secrets nor salacious events at the root of our decision — just two best-friends realizing it’s time to take some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled lives as possible. We are still a family and will always be loving dedicated parents to Everly. We won’t be commenting beyond this, and we thank you all in advance for respecting our family’s privacy.  Sending lots of love to everyone, Chan&Jenna.

It doesn’t make sense. What more is there truly out there to find if love and friendship already resides in their home?

    “Two bestfriends”
The world is LOST becsuse they don’t know GOD.
Love is not a FEELING that you wake up one morning and say you don’t feel again.Or thst you don’t feel it in the same way…you’re non longer “madly in love”

    To love is a COMMANDEMENT.

Two bestfriends going on two different paths of life…..In MARRIAGE the wife is meant to submit to your vision for the family. You are the man..LEAD your home in peace and UNITY.

This explanation above is not reason for separation nor divorce.

    Honour your vows to God.
I pray they sort this out ASAP.

‘…love is a beautiful adventure but it’s taking us on different paths now…’.kai… Na wa o.different paths of divorce adventure abi? Love is helping in divorce.. just when you think you’ve heard it all.So called political correctness has eaten deep into the minds of these prominent American figures that they can’t seem to just EFFing speak the TRUTH again…every thing must be sugar coated and twisted to the point. That nothing makes sense therefore,it becomes nonsense. which one be ‘our love for each other is thesame’….ngwanu na. . It is even better than all the dramatic fighting back and forth.if it takes twisted words to console thyselves and prevent creating a spectacle on the inter-webs,then by all means, fake it till ya make it?
