Gbenga Power Foundation distributes Food Items to Community Members of Igbaja Ifelodun Local Government

 Gbenga Power FoundationThe Founder, Gbenga Power Foundation, Gbenga Power has distributed foodstuffs worth millions of naira to thousands of people in the community of Igbaja of Ifelodun Local Government Area, Kwara state. He disclosed that beneficiaries were aged, widows and youths.

Reaching out to them, Gbenga Power said the purpose is to give back to the society what the society has done for him. He further explained that the distribution of the food items, which includes rice, semovita, groundnut oil among others started in Ilorin some years back and added that his foundation embarked on this project this Easter period to enable the less privileged have a hitch-free celebration.

He also said his foundation is founded years back with a view to complementing government’s efforts and equally offer social service to vulnerable people in the society particularly the aged, widows and youths. He also used the occasion to call on well-to-do individuals in the society to compliment government by engaging in youths empowerment programme. The Elese of Igbaja, Oba Ahmadu Babalola Awuni praised the organizer for his effort and described his contribution as a welcome.

In conclusion, the monarch who was represented by the Agbaja of Igbaja used the occasion to call on well-to-do Sons and Daughters of Igbaja to emulate Gbenga Power by extending their hands to vulnerable individuals in the community.beneficiaries who spoke at the occasion praised the foundation for the exercise, saying that they would forever remain grateful to Gbenga Power.

Dignitaries at the event included the President, Igbaja Progressive Forum, Doyin Rasak; Alhaji Ali Kano from Kano, Wahab Fajenyo; Otunba Zubair Ganiyu and many others.
