Have you always wanted to design fashionable pieces, to create trends and make beautiful clothes that show your design aesthetic and express your design point of view? This course is for you.

HCNexus is a human development organization created to empower people, expand businesses and revolutionize industries. For our very first collaboration, we have teamed up with A fashion designer and graduate from the International Fashion Academy Paris to present ‘The Atelier’.

This collaboration was conceived with the desire to empower fashion enthusiasts in Nigeria with the relevant knowledge to enable them to grow and compete internationally in fashion. As the rest of the world understands, Africa is the future of fashion. Unfortunately, we have not harnessed and developed our skills and talents to meet up to this expectation. With this class, we aim to expose participants to this fact and empower them for the world stage.

During this Practical class, our facilitator will expose participants to her wealth of knowledge acquired from her education and work with reputable fashion brands in Paris such as Ecole Lesage, Malia Kent, Rick Owens and ISPO Munich. From research Book and illustrations to the marketing of the final products, participants through five Subjects (Fashion Design Workshop, Digital/Graphic Design, Patternmaking, Production and Fashion Marketing) will discover themselves, the numerous possibilities that exist in Fashion and push their personal boundaries.

This course has been designed for Individuals who

– are curious about the Fashion industry but have no prior Knowledge of it

– are considering a higher education in fashion and want to prepare a solid portfolio

– have started their brands without prior Design education and desire to take their craft to the next level.

As we have very limited spaces available, participation will be based strictly on a first come first serve basis.
