Oluwo of Iwo confers Chieftaincy title on Osinbajo

Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo was in Osun state on Monday for the launch of a Federal Government Enterprise scheme for Petty traders tagged the Trader Moni Scheme.

While in the state, the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi revealed that he bestowed on the VP a chieftaincy title – the Olori Ogun (Olorogun) of Yorubaland.

Oba Akanbi also joined Osinbajo, Osun State governor Rauf Aregbesola and deputy governor Titilayo Laoye Tomori for the launch.

It was a glorious day in the history of Iwoland as I recieved the Vice President of The Federal Republic of Nigeria Olorogun Yemi Osinbajo in my Palace and I bestowed on him The Olori Ogun (Olorogun) of Yorubaland.
