The Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly has been shut down after a group of unknown persons invaded the premises, causing chaos.
Photos shared on social media show the House premises shut with cars and people waiting out front.
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has on its official Twitter alleged that the House was attacked by thugs with the All Progressives Congress (APC), chanting “APC Change” and blocking the entrance.

Social media users on the scene also shared the same story, revealing that the thugs are indeed with the APC.
