“I want the media to take it easy on me” – R. Kelly speaks up ahead of New Paid Gig

In the past couple of years that R. Kelly has been facing several allegations of sex abuse and physical abuse against underaged women, the singer has complained about not getting new paying jobs and therefore not having money.

R. Kelly recently landed a paid new gig holding in Illinois and he posted a video on his Instagram page asking the media to take it easy on him today.

He says the event will be at the club, there will be drinks and cigars.

    Why should the media take it easy on him he is a celebrity and i guess he did not spend wisely while he was still singing i just can not imaging him abusing women

    But of a truth, the media should really give it a break on the guy before he get depressed and do something people will be sorry for.

    With all he has/is going through, the media should help him rise not get him depressed.
    If peradventure he commits suicide, they’ll start remembering his amazing talent and all that (celebrating him in death; giving him hell while alive).
