Police Rescue Four Kidnap Victims said to be RCCG Pastors

Police Public Relations Officer in Ogun state, Abimbola Oyeyemi, has confirmed the rescue of the remaining four of the five people said to be pastors of RCCG, who were kidnapped by gunmen.

According to Channels TV, the Police PRO said all the victims were rescued unhurt from their abductors by operatives of the Command.

Hours after their kidnap, the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu, had ordered a massive manhunt for their captors.

One woman, Ibeleji Chidinma, who is said to be a deaconess at RCCG, was rescued in the early hours of Saturday.

Update: The other victims have been identified as Chidioze Eluwa, Chiemela Iroha, Okoro Ohowukwe, and Ndubuisi Owuabueze and are not RCCG pastors.
