Here’s Your First Look at HKN Chairman Adewale Adeleke & Kani’s Traditional Wedding

The Chairman of HKN, Adewale Adeleke, and fiancée, Kani, are traditionally married.

The couple got engaged back in July, and their introduction took place at Kani’s family residence in Calabar.

The couple tied the knot today, and it definitely was a good way to wrap up the year.

The combination of the Yoruba and Kalabari culture was simply breathtaking. To honour her Kalabari heritage, Kani dressed as a regal Kalabari bride, and Adewale represented in his traditional attire.

The couple were joined by their loved ones and family.

Check out the photos below.

I believe her attire represents the Efik culture and not Kalabari. The Efiks hail from Calabar and not Kalabari. Happy married life to them

Exactly. Kalabari people are from Rivers state and they don’t dress like that. They were a beaded hat, blouse and a short george wrapper tied round their waist.

The bride is Efik not Kalabari. Her name is Ekanem Eyo Ita.

My thought too. Kalabari is in River State while her name is Ekanem which is cross river name
