To Love & To Cherish: Bosoye Tejuoso & Idowu Ogunkanmi Wed
Posted on Wednesday, September 9th, 2009 at 8:49 pmBy Bella
The culturally rich backdrop of Abeokuta set the scene for the colourful and beautiful traditional engagement and white wedding of Bosoye Tejuoso and Idowu Ogunkanmi on the 28th and 29th of August 2009. The longtime lovebirds met about a decade ago, dated for several years and now have been joined together as husband and wife. At the traditional engagement which was held at the Abeokuta Sports Club, the bride looked stunning in her ivory and blue iro and buba teamed with a dazzling blue and silver aso-oke accentuated with her coral necklace and earrings.
The religious blessing took place at the Cathedral of St James African Church while the reception was held at the Abeokuta Sports Club which was transformed to a yellow and green paradise – decorated with sunflowers, swaths of fabric and twinkling lights as Bisoye and Idowu stepped in to celebrate their union. The bride was a vision in her white crystal embellished wedding gown perfectly offset with diamond accessories clutching her bouquet of yellow and white roses while the groom was handsome in his three piece suit. The bridal train was not left out as the bridesmaids were gorgeous in their citrine and peridot hued dresses while the groomsmen stuck to classic black. A beautiful day for a special couple. Congrats to the couple – we wish them a fruitful marriage and all of life’s blessings.

who made that cake?its awesome and her necklace is something else.wish them all the best.
omg that cake is one of the bestest iv seen in ages!!
just out of curiosity …. why do Nigerian photographers feel the need to always wear that funny little jacket?
For the multiple pockets they can use for film etc….
WOW…that cake is HUGE! beautiful too. And the bride’s necklace is definitely eye-catching. With that necklace, she could’ve gone to her traditional wedding in an apron and still looked like a million bucks! Lovely photos.
the same kind of necklace can be gotten from peju joseph- 08023506835
very classy affair, love the color scheme for both the traditional and white weddings. Happy wedded bliss to you both!
