Presenting the Oaken Events Directory

The Oaken Events Directory was launched earlier this year at the Clear Essence Hotel & Spa in Ikoyi, Lagos. The Directory provides referencing materials for events suppliers, it also showcases a wide array of tourist attractions available in our country at large especially Lagos state. It is an informative tool for research for both the public, corporate organisations and the private sector. It is also a resource guide/provider for events vendors ranging from caterers, musicians, Emcees, boutiques of all sorts including costumes, car rentals, décor design and rentals, beauty & style etc. It is a DIY resource guide with easy referencing for every event planner – amateur or professional.
According to Ayiri Oladunmoye the Managing Director/CEO of the company, the directory aims to solve the problems of not getting adequate information or choices on vendors when having to plan any kind of event that ranges from end of year party, birthday party, book launch, corporate events to wedding ceremonies as so on.
Oaken Event Resource Directory is a product of Oaken Directory, an affiliate of Oaken Events Limited, a company that specialises in events planning, consultancy and management as well as venue decorations. The organisation was established to provide a rewarding alternative for the discerning client who wishes to add a touch of finesse and panache to their special event.

My name is Eliza Benson of Pink Mojito events based in Brighton UK andI think this directory is a
great idea! We are doing the same thing in the UK as many Africans don’t know where to turn to
when it comes to finding vendors for their events.Not many people can afford to hire a wedding
planner so I believe this directory is an a fab idea! Hope its a success

As for Lanre Da silver, honestly i am sick of it , she sure needs a change
lets see her face for real, she is pretty but confuses me whenever i see her
photo’s, someone should pls remind her that she is a role model and her image
needs a touch-up…Lady Lanre give us a new look pls sweetie.
