Today on BN Pick Your Fave, it’s an “It Girl” vs. a “Nolly Star” rocking highstreet chic. The Zara Tulip Dress has been a popular choice since it hit Zara stores around the world a few months ago.
The dress comes in various colours – red, black, blue, pink and more. However, the most popular choice for celebrities and fashionistas seems to be the “watercolour” version of the dress.
We totally adore the sculptural design of the dress and the colour adds that added dreamy artsy effect. On the Nigerian scene, we have spotted several ladies rocking this red on the red carpet. 53 Extra presenter, Eku Edewor and Nollywood actress Susan Peters wore the dress so well, we are having a hard time picking our favorite…you try!
Eku Edewor wore the Zara Tulip dress at the 2011 Music Meets Runway event. Eku paired the dress with black shoes and a quilted pink bag with a black strap. Eku kept her hair wavy and makeup fresh to give her look a relaxed and casual vibe.
Susan Peters chose the Zara dress for the President Goodluck Jonathan Youth Event a few months ago. Susan made great use of colour by rocking a pair of green open-toe platform pumps. She completed her look with a statement cocktail ring, gold watch and a delicate gold anklet.

Susan Peters, Rebecca Ferguson…unfortunately, the dress looks boring on fair-skinned people, kinda like a tablecloth.
What put me off Lala Anthony was the ashen skin, which clashed with the dress….the dress needs the glow Susan and Rebecca have, else it just looks drab!
Eku – Love the fresh, simple, chic look she gave the tulip dress but her shoe choice is a NO for me.
Susan – She actually rocked the dress with her shoe choice but over accessorised (with the cocktail ring, bold wristwatch and the chunky bracelet)
