If you asked me, Omawumi is one of the most outstanding musical talents out of Nigeria to this day.

From a law degree to Idols West Africa; from “In The Music” to “Bottom Belle”, Omawumi‘s star is ever bright and only gets brighter with her bubbly, “full of life” spirit and extraordinary passion for music.

Watch as Ifeanyi Attamah of iROKtv interviews the stunning, ever entertaining songstress and she spills the beans on how she got started in the industry, her family and upbringing, her music, her next album and so much more.

Check on it.

      Awesome interview.

    • Sabirah June 18, 2012 at 6:13 PM

This interviewer was sooooo pooor, his questions were uninspiring and dull. I’m appalled.

That being said Omawumi took the interview into her own hands gave it life and energy! She flowed despite the interviewer’s dryness and just brought it to life.
Her personality is just what I expected it to be; bubbly, interesting, real, full of life and a good dose of depth, just like her music.
Love her even more! Go Omawumi. so much soul!

She’s already been in a movie called Inale directed by Jeta Amata. It was a musical but she did a great job acting. I love her to pieces!! Met her twice and she’s the funniest woman ever and when she breaks it down in pidgin, you go bow. She was with Nse Ikpe-Etim when I met her and those 2 together ehn, I can’t shout, funny as hell!!!!

    • HEPHZIBAH June 19, 2012 at 4:14 PM

Awwwww i just had to patiently watch the video. Omawunmi is funny and energetic! I have always been a fan. my Fav are ‘In the Music’ and “Bottom Belle”. You don’t know Lord J??? hilarious! Plus she’s right on the whole “embarrassing moment” question, like hellooooo there’s a reason it’s called ‘EM-BARE-ASSING’…. LOL.
