erm so the Nigerian Entertainment Awards took place in New York?
So why did the NIGERIAN awards have to take place in New York?
Just wondering why “Nigerian Entertainment Awards” is being held in the US *smh* how many American Awards are held in Nigeria or anywhere else. We have issues!
Well, that is because they wanted to host an award show in the US to honor Nigerian entertainers. There are multiple award shows in Naija already. Even Bollywood hosts award shows to honor their stars in other countries. Let’s be educated and open minded here people, it is not that deep
so asking a question about why a Nigerian event is held in another country means one is uneducated and close minded? how daft?
U host awards in other countries to host entertainers in dose countries. This shows just how nigerians reason. So hosting it in America makes us high class? How sad
was wondering the same thing ooo
why…….the US is the greatest nation in the world and the home of entertainment……………..why…the world wants to feel america…………….i am happy for njja celebrities………………..look at them travelling around the world………….hm…………while bankers, lecturers, business men are refused visa to america……….
Ify I agree with you we Nigerians still have serious issues. What is the sense in having a Nigerian awards outside Nigeria. when this our colonial mentality go leave us. God help us.
Did anyone notice how susan peters looked like someone squeezed the juice out of her! jeez. but make we really, REALLY tell ourselves the truth —> hosting the NEA event in NYC no make sense. someone please explain this to me logically.
Annie rocks, go gurl!

Annie Idibia looks amazing!!! Love Mr and Mrs Rodriguez as well! Funke, Susan Peters, you all rock!!!!
Na wa! Isn’t just me or is uche jumbo looking kinda weird!?!?? What’s with that make-up? That aside she looks Good
Her makeup reminds me of Lil Kim’s. I prefer Uche with her short/real hair. It makes her look more youthful.
Inferiority complex is a disease. Why would a Nigerian award show be hosted in far away america? I don’t know why we Nigerians go about embarrassing ourselves. We go ahead claiming to be “Giant of Africa” yet we cannot hold a Nigerian entertainment award show in our own homeland where most of the fans of these actors and actresses reside? Does that make sense? That is like conducting the oscars award ceremony in france rather than in hollywood California USA. We have a long way to go as a people.
virtual hug
looks like they all got free tickets on Arik to Newyork . and really there is no sense hosting an award in america. Pls lets be honest , we are not hating it is just the darn honest truth, this makes absolutely no sense…oh well, make i no talk again…
meanwhile did annie smash it or what…girl looks on point…mr idibia u dey enjoy o…ah ah….i actually think susan peters looks nice too, she may not be the nicest person or the most diplomatic going by how many petty fights she gets into on twitter but she looks good. the end..
uche, uche, uche…how many times did i call u. Use make up designed for your skin, how can u look whiter than your oyibo husband…nna na wa o
Susan, your outfit was razz,it either a gown is long enuf or not,wat with d shoe as well.Uche and waje got it wrong as well.Weight is a serious issue to battle with, but as celebrity,u got no choice but to fight it head on.Annie is a beauty to behold, kudos
Nyc
Annie looked AMAZING
Maybe the idea is get the Nigeria entertainment to the doorstep of the entertainment capital which will enhance acceptability and more visibility. Mrs Idibia you rock.

i love the way AY is posing in front of the ride that he cannot. (joke).
Annie looks hit but the dress is kind of snug, maybe a few inches looser.
Uche jumbo looks like candy floss gone horribly wrong, is that a nude shimi under the dress??? The make up sef, apology
Kendra, model of note, being in the fashion industry and a boob job to go, black bra exposed is a bigggg NO NO. For deep plunge go braless and keep in place with tape
Susan peters dress looks like a grandma’s wrinkly curtain, draping is wrong, hair is totally wrong for the look, make up wack…all bad
Funky akindele is glowing sha, marriage sure does suit her and hopefully that’s a baby bump. Happy for her
Waje’s stage outfit, pls what song did she do and who advised her to go on stage like that?
It sure is good to support Nigerian designers but we do more good for them, when we point out terrible mistakes and error in judgement. If your designers messes you up(and you should know when), runout and get a dress off the rack.
Vonnegut is trying o, notable celebs rocking her outfits
Oh boy, last paragraph being vonne!
Annie, I see you. Love the dress and look. Lovely pics
come on now, there are a good # of actors dis side of the world…was abt time to celebrate with folks on dis side too. nothing to do with colonialism. get real!

Vonne and her group looks like men,…….except annie
Abeg, people should just relax jare ah ah! The people who are the creators of the award shows live in New York City, and there are many Nigerians who will go home but will never go to a club to see any of these people perform nor will they ever get an invitation to any of the red carpet events nor will they want to spend thousands for a sit at an award show. The NEA awards allows them to see some of these celebs do their thing. Also, there are many NON NIGERIANS who come to the awards show and they get to see our talented Nigerians perform. What is the problem there eh? We too dey look for fight joh!
In case you have forgotten: THESE STARS ARE BEING CELEBRATED BY THEIR OWN PEOPLE! So what it is not happening in Victoria Island? As someone has already said, aren’t there enough awards in Nigeria? Do we that don’t live in Nigeria begrudge all of you attending those awards/shows/parties? So we all that don’t live in Nigeria don’t have a right to honor our talented people and get a chance to celebrate them too? It must all be done in Naija, abi?
Please, please, please if una no get betta someting to argue about, go drink water lie down joh! Raking for nothing!
