This has got to be one of the most colorful Nigerian Lookbooks, we’ve seen this season.
Nigerian label, House of Nwocha (HON) is out with its Spring/Summer 2012 collection “Dianthus” and we are loving it. According to the label’s rep, the collection which features a lot of colours, including red and blue as well as black-and-white prints is the answer to all style needs this season.
The label also unveils its Catherine Bag Range.

Love the use of popping colors and prints in this collection. It’s louder than their last collection which I love. The make up is amazing and poppy and the purses are equally amazing . I wonder if anyone is going to comment anything negative about this collection lol x
Very lovely concept. Whose genius idea was it to use a red background seeing as a lot of the fabrics are red or has some red to it. As lively as some of the colors were meant to be, it’s just depressing. Lovely models.

I’m not sure what to make of the clothes as they are so far removed from the previous collection, so I’m so still processing….
The boxy lady handbag is very cute and I’d happily buy both colors, but she will take the buttons off mine.

cheap looking clothes
this is a huge improvement compared to her previous collection…as much as im so not a fan of the HON label,i think she nailed it this time! flirty feminine and fun! the pieces looked rumpled to me,a lil steaming wda been appropriate

i don’t get this chic…but i applaud her effort for at least trying
hahahahahahaha………. the model looks very sad, no facial expression, no energy and she looks stiff. she is not a professional model, i do not think that she is marketing those clothes well. its a flop.
she still needs to get the QUALITY of her material right, not critizing but looking beyond the glamour, some of the materials look a bit on the cheap side but it might not also, when choosing the fabrics a designer needs to check how it reflects on light as this is what sells clothes, so when purchasing a quick photograph under the light can help as well in choosing what to buy or not, just a tip.
