On Saturday 8th September 2012, Nigerian urban radio station, The Beat 99.9 FM, celebrated its anniversary party at DV8 Club, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The event saw in attendance some of the entertainment industry’s biggest names including Lynxxx, I.D Ogungbe, Mode 9, Tunde Ednut, Eku Edewor, Olisa Adibua, Sound Sultan, Praiz, Fade Ogunro, Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi and Wande Coal, who all came to celebrate with the music station that has been keeping Nigerians entertained for 4 years.

congrats to the beats cos they really rock.while at that i think they need to caution their opas about how they mis-yarn on radio especially gbemi.she’s extremely big-mouthed and says watever that comes to her mouth with no sensitivity to her audience.she sud stick her bossy attitude to only her family members who can condole it and nt stick it up our faces.that said the beat is really doing good.
