BN Pick Your Fave: Tiwa Savage & Solange Knowles in Olcay Gulsen

So excited! BN Pick Your Fave is here again. If you visit BellaNaija, you’ll know we love our Nigerian star Tiwa Savage while American DJ/Musician Solange Knowles has caught our attention with her love for African fashion labels.
Today, the ladies “face off” for BN Pick Your Fave supremacy! Tiwa and Solange both rocked this peach silk double knit jersey dress with two daring slits by Olcay Gulsen. Tiwa wore it first and Solange followed suit a few months later.
In September 2012, the BNStyle Cam spotted Tiwa Savage at Lagos luxury fashion retailer Temple Muse’s launch of the Matthew Williamson label and later that day at designer Funke Adepoju’s wedding. Tiwa looked fabulous in this light peach “double slit” sheath dress by Olcay Gulsen. Tiwa styled her hair in a casual updo and completed her look with a bracelet, clutch, nude Louboutin pumps and gemstone drop earrings.
Just a few hours ago, Solange Knowles attended the Ermenegildo Zegna ‘Essenze’ Collection launch in New York City. Solange’s voluminous hair was her main accessory while her gold bracelets, white & gold clutch and B Brian Atwood Labrea Sandals completed her look.

Solange looks more like a Star in the dress. It’s definitely the hair & shoes. Must I add that her complexion is uniform everywhere unlike Tiwa’s which is kind of funny looking on the legs. But she still looks good sha.

Considering the dress is quite hard to pull off – the fabric is unforgiving and the double slits can make thighs look wider and shorter – both ladies look great. Tiwa looks chic, her legs still look long, lean and lovely and her shoes are mean. Solange’s hair is fab, she also nailed it with the accessories and it fits like a glove.
