Aunty Caro’s Bar is a Nigerian comedy/drama series as told by Nigerians about the average Nigerian and it is intended to showcase the day to day discussions at a typical Nigerian bar. At Aunty Caro’s bar, you’ll see people argue about the things that don’t even matter to them.
According to the producer Akinsola Muse, the show is based about: “A Nigerian bar located in Shangisha area of Lagos, Nigeria, owned and operated by Madam Carolina, wife of a retired American trained teacher (Mr. Jerry); she manages and operates her bar from her matrimonial home.Madam Carolina decided to open a bar in her house when she lost her job of 14 years, working as a cook in the canteen of a 1st generation bank. Aunty Caro’s Bar is opened to only the customers that are aware of its existence, most of whom are close friends. They enjoy hanging out at the bar after working hours.“
The show is produced and directed by Akinsola Muse for 1705 Productions and it stars Spice TV presenter, Ariyike Akinbobola.

I hope this goes well and if so, it will be awesome since everything now is Islanders, Lekki wives, Gidi this, gidi that.
inconsistent and incoherent
For the love of God! The Cinematic arts in Nigeria are a huge disappointment.
Welldone to the producers, it takes effort to bring ideas to life. However i must admit that this does not portray an average Nigerian bar, the people are too posh. Besides that, they are not discussing the usual bar talk, which is either politics or football…lol.
Watching keenly
Goodness!! Such bad acting….Abeg people now, why?
Very inconsistent..
You say its located in Shangisha area. How many bank workers are around that side that they will be hanging out there after work?
Strikes me as a low budget stuff and some people that want to be popular by force are in it.
Well done for trying.
Pls, really beer parlour no dey look like this o! Everything na wash! Wash!! Good concept though.
Nice try, they can only get better
Having read the synopsis, I can better relate to the story. I’l rate this 6.5/10
Na wa o. Aunty Caro rocking polo
looool
Horrible acting.
Errr………..beer parlor with not even one drink in sight? or even bowls of pepper soup? No conversation about football, obasanjor, GEJ, Patience, traffic? C’mmon now.!!!!
This is nice, I think the producer isn’t using the normal NAija mentality…can’t wait to watch the full comedy series
Viewing this comedy trailer from the uk and I think it’s def going to be a funny one’, thank God we have peeps thinking beyond.. Nice one to the director of this
Nice concept and shoot
I think i understand what the director is trying to achieve , i read the synopsis and i can only look forward to watch the full episodes .
i think there is room for improvement, the director still has alot to do,the trailer should portray more of suspense and captivating moments, that will make the viewer want to watch more.let it be give and take cos its comedy,it should not be draggy and unnneccesarrilly long.more grease to your elbow Akinshola Muse
The acting is kinda bad….ok very bad. The trailer does not make one excited, bad scene selection if you ask me. It could be a good one, but they need to keep it original…no village drunks and people speaking “big” English. Let the humour come from the conversations. And yes, there must be some conversations about footy and politics!
