Welcome to “#WorkFlow”, a weekly column where I give you all the juiciest ‘gist’ of what’s been going on in the industry, especially some reports we missed during the week. That is, the ‘news’ news and the ‘not-so-news’ news. Brace yourselves – we’ve got a lot to cover this week.
Did You Know?
Last night, 18th October, 2013, international make-up brand Maybelline New York launched in Lagos, Nigeria and some of our celebrity fashionista folk were in attendance, from Rita Dominic to Elohor Aisien, Tiwa Savage, Jumai Shaba, DJ Obi, Cookie Jar and Fade Ogunro. Check out what they wore to the launch party.
Sigh! Rita Dominic‘s smile *swoon* _____________________________________________________________________________
When the Star Boy, Wizkid is not causing stampedes at show like Felabration Wizkid performed at Felabration 2013 recently and he showed up with his whole team, girlfriend Tania Omotayo included. Here are a few clips from his performance, at least before he threw N100,000 into the audience.
But, when he’s not on stage wooing himself new fans
and in this case, almost causing a stampede, the young star finds time to spend with his son, Boluwatife. This week, they spent some quality time together.
But now, the Star Boy is out in Abuja for a concert and from strolling into a supermarket to cop a few things, it seems like the “Jaiye Jaiye” crooner met a few Stans who turned it into an event. _____________________________________________________________________________
A few of our celebrities have been experiencing the ‘new look’ syndrome of late and I’d like you to give me your honest opinion about their new ‘changes’ in the comments section down below. Check this!

and haters ‘coming to the yard’, then, she should go ahead right? _____________________________________________________________________________
To support the Rotary Club’s awareness to stop Polio, Funke Akindele joined the bike-a-thon for a good cause. And, from the look of things, she finished the ‘race’.

_____________________________________________________________________________ When you are a successful businessman like Peter Okoye (of P-Square), you get called on sometimes to impart your business acumen on others, which is exactly what happened when the talented singer gave a lecture at CBN during the week.
And, as much as he had a presentation prepared and what looks like quite an intense lecture, there were still fans in the building taking photos during it. Well, I guess Peter’s to blame for looking oh-so-dapper. Check this! _____________________________________________________________________________ You all know South African Revlon ambassador and media personality, Bonang Matheba right? Well, the stunning fashionista put out some fun photos recently and here they are. What do you think?
In other news, there have been a lot of celebrations this week, from birthdays to weddings, so let’s take a quick look.
Nonhle Thema & Khanyi Mbau
South African socialites and media personalities, Nonhle Thema & Khanyi Mbau share the same birthdays so the two decided to throw a huge birthday bash at one of South Africa’s most popular clubs, Moloko.
Sadly, haven’t spotted a photo of Melvin at the party even though he was on the poster.
