The Weaverbird collection, a collection of short stories by authors such as Tolu Ogunlesi and E.C Osondu and edited by Sarah Ladipo Manyika amongst others. Stories in the Weaverbird collection are lively, compelling and more importantly, they are reflective of the Nigerian political and cultural landscape. Come express your points of view, discuss the themes of the stories, or maybe get writing tips from our accomplished moderators: Tolu Ogunlesi, Ayo Arigbabu, and Tade Ipadeola.

Premiere of “Bursting Out” and “Holding Hope”
This weekend SilverBird Galleria will sizzle as it receives a heavy dose of star power! Why? Its for the first public screening of the much anticipated movies, ‘Bursting Out!’ starring Genevieve Nnaji, Majid Michel, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Omoni Oboli & Susan Peters. The second film ‘Holding Hope’ stars Uche Jombo, Desmond Elliot, Nadia Buari and Ngozi Nwosu. The films were both produced by Emem Isong though in collaboration with Uche Jombo for “Holding Hope.
