How much do they retail for? I need the website link in order to buy them…I doubt those can be executed as beautifully by just any tailor due to the fabric and the embroidery.

This is exactly what am talking about! Noollywood need to show case our fashion and put Nigeria in the map.The reason most people watch our movies , in spite of the poor technical quality is because they are different. We need to be trend setters instead of copy cats. Nice dresses!

    November 18, 2010 at 8:25 pm

Lovely gowns, though I prefer the shorter Tunics. Their model is beautiful too, nice eyes.

    November 19, 2010 at 12:22 pm

Mehn, these are foine!!! I’m loving ’em all especially the fact that they have the short ones too. They’d make one look so regal almost like royalty. Impressive!

the model makes it look ugly -all that skinny legs and horse hair

      November 19, 2010 at 1:50 pm

Ex Miss Nigeria? R you for How did she represent Nigeria? She looks too old to model.

    • mariaah

      November 19, 2010 at 3:05 pm

She won in 2004 if that helps and she’s nt old to model. Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford and even Twiggy of M&S still models till today and often grace covers of top magazines so what are u on about?

  21. KEMI

    November 19, 2010 at 1:34 pm

I see that it wasn’t only Ngozi who misunderstood, so did Nnenne!! . And I don’t think it’s their fault. the writeup was slightly misleading. This retailer goes to Dubai, buys stuff and resells, honest business, but there is nothing Nigerian about it, expect that she resells them in Nigeria. That said some of them are very nice, if you like the older lady look.

i love the bright colored tunics but i would never wear them.the little dresses do it for me

    November 19, 2010 at 1:39 pm

I see the collection has got some plus sizes too… Fabulous!!!
How can we who live abroad reach these? Is there a website? I want my hands on some of these!!

  25. if opinions are like assholes........

    November 19, 2010 at 9:07 pm

@ Nene and others of like mind. let me bring it to your attention that it is morally and ethically wrong to go about copying the blood, sweat and tears of designers. in fact, if we were to be honest, it’s called stealing. if you feel that you are not financially empowered enough to pay for their sweat, then come up with your own design.

@ Mariah.Do not compare the old woman above with SUPERMODELS like naomi campbell etc. She is just Ex Miss Nigeria

    • mariaah

      November 20, 2010 at 2:31 pm

Duh am not comparing her to anyone, just said she’s not too old to model>= No one is “too” old to model as long as you can work it and I think she does. Notice how pple prefer the short tunics to the kaftan (her banging legs worked it)..

    • tyna

      November 22, 2010 at 8:40 am

How old do you think she is?

    • Damilola

      November 22, 2010 at 6:04 pm

she was 19 when she won,so she should be 25 now
