Big Brother StarGame Shocker! Nigerian Housemates Ola & Chris Leave the Game

Published

 on

Nigeria - Chris | Olalekan

Today, Friday May 18, 2012 saw Nigerian housemates Chris and Ola depart Big Brother StarGame after asking for a voluntary exit due to an escalating medical condition affecting Ola. In accordance with the game rules governing the DownVille house, where contestants play as partners, Chris has also left the series.

According to M-Net and Endemol, while they are deeply saddened to see these two very entertaining housemates leave the game, they remain committed to ensuring the health and safety of the contestants and therefore understand and respect the housemates’ decision. Further they would like to thank both the contestants for their contribution to the show and their participation and wish them well for the future.

Hope Ola gets the help he needs but we are pretty sure they did rigorous medical tests before they got into the house.
New Housemates from Nigeria on the way?

If he is ill, then may God grant him speedy recovery. Another thought is this; Nigeria has won the price two years in a row. What if this were a planned move by some people (who know who) to keep Nigeria from snatching the price money again??? Its just a thought though!

We’ve actually won three years in a row (Kevin – Uti – Karen alongside the Zimbabwean guy, Wendall)

My thoughts exactly! If Ola is unwell, then I wish him speedy recovery. However, I wouldnt be suprised if this was a premeditated act in connivance, to leave the big bro game in disguise (of course with some settlement)

Seriously, he was ill and he entered for the game? How come he didnt consider his health first rather than pull out in less than a month. I jus dont believe this story. BB should try anoda one. Nigeria may not wn it dis time but our contestants deserve a fair chance and no there wont be anoda replacement from Nigeria.

Ngwa!!! Which kin ojoro be this???? I know that the contestants are given rigorous health tests before being admitted into the house so wetin bring about this one? Secondly why do the two have to be sent away? Only one is ill, the first set of evictees from the house, only one was sent home, the other lady was sent to the Upville house. Why is BBA so scared of Nigeria winning the game again? Mshew…..

This is so scripted its not even funny…serious ojoro I swear!! So Ola didnt perform medical tests before entering the house? Indeed!!For those of you saying its unfair for a Nigerian to win again abeg hold that nonsense talk o…Is it our fault that we are more charismatic and tend to stand out more amongst Africans? I will not downgrade and belittle myself because I have an outstanding personality…Let others who feel intimidated get over their inferiority complex and try to measure up…

But since this is a health condition, Chris would have stayed back while Ola goes. Afterall, Maneta did not leave with her partner. BBA this is not a fair play.

This is a call for all Nigerians to boycott the show. I sense some sort of “ojoro” here. This year’s big brother will be a record failure. Most of the housemates dont look good for TV. Mnet/Endemol you’ve just lost your entertainers. What is there to watch again, some of the faces in the house are so ugly u will wanna throw up.

Am not happy. I knw that if a partner leaves the house it affect the other partner bt it health issue, Chris should have stay back. We know that there is a nigerian in upvile but our votes were only for their two. Today has made many fans in nigeria lose their interest in the game, i am speaking not only for myself but for friends.

First it was d stupid random eviction system secondly D̶̲̥̅̊ε̲̣̣̣̥γ̲̣̣̥ knew Ola wasn’t well, dey let him into d house so he will leave b4 d end of d show n thirdly sending Chris out with Sick Ola ȋ̊§ so unfair cos if dey say partners shuld leave together,Y is mambi still there? …Rubbish!!! Also Goldie ȋ̊§ so fake n unloved…oya tell me y Nigerians should keep on watching BBA7!

  49. Queen - kenya

    May 19, 2012 at 9:03 am

@Faith, i can feel you baby. i also thought they ought to have gone for medical check up.
if the game is about all the partners leaving, then ,Maneta also could have left. Hilda should not have gone coz she was the second best after Maneta. its very much unfair

  52. bencolo.

    May 19, 2012 at 10:06 am

Ola & Chris are d true meanin of d stargame. Dey hv takin d game 2 anoda level 4 just only 2 weeks in d hse. I tink dis a calculatd ploy by mnet & endmol in ensurin dat nigeria did not win it 4 times in a row. U know wat mnet b ready 2 b sad 2 d bank. Unless a good replacment is made.

total nonsense! they had done all serious medication before coming to d house,i dont buy their story one bit! they were aware of the urgency and importance of their health but they still applied to be in the star game and depriving genuine nigerian contenders> i smell a foul play

  59. oke

    May 19, 2012 at 2:58 pm

Ola i wish you quick recovery if na TRUE, but how come you forget the BBA TASK and look only the CASH, nothing good come easy. NIJA wining it every time is based on the votes that is turned in, if no votes from Nija, BBA will definitely loose a lot of money, Y bothering if its OJORO, Pikin wen say him mama nor go sleep, himself nor go …………!!!.

  62. missappleberry

    May 19, 2012 at 7:30 pm

Hmm. I feel ola and chris must have bin bribed by bba. Maybe they were given an irresistible offer of 100000 dollars so nigerians dont hav 2 win a 4th time and ola n chris must have reasoned “why not accept this offer stead of waiting till d end 4 d star prize we re nt even sure of”. Forget health issues cos dat was dealt with even b4 they got in. Biggie is just playin a better game on Nigerians dis time. Mark my words cos soon, breeze go blow n fowl yansh go open. Nothin is hidden under d sun 4eva. The truth will spill out soon

what i feel about this is that they feel ola and chris are strong contenders but because they r nigerians,it will be somehow if they win,so in order not to make viewers angry by letting another nigerian win, they had to let them go on health grounds with some settlement.its just my theory, could be wrong even though i strongly doubt that!

  82. Angie

    May 21, 2012 at 3:07 pm

We’ll definitely miss Ola & Chris and I do pray that Ola gets over his health issues…HOWEVER, this BBA was not looking very interesting even with our boys in the house…First of all, why must Chris leave because of Ola afterall, we have seen 2 eviction ceremonies now where some partners have been left behind!!! I feel the random selection for nomination is crap because the best housemates are unfortunately being sent off and what’s with the eviction after only one week in the game, haba? The cast this year is BORING…Upville house? What’s dat? Only Lady May and the Ghanian guy are THERE! I hope BB won’t regret all these actions o…Me, i have tuned off!!!

i think if ola is to go, then chris should stay, cos they came in 2gether,we all know dat there is sum1 in dat house dat his or her partner remanys, BBA should be fair, and if they must go cos of health, then 9ja has 2 be replaced. back 2 9ja, them no test them? people whn do d stupid eviction no see healthy candidates there? e show say na ojoro them do, {Nigerias …………..} BBA is not 2 blame, Nigerians dat elected them owns d fault. faith God bless ur thinkin, i wish Ola quick recovery.

strange but true…Ola left the BBA house on health grounds.Im certain cos he’s my brother. We are a family of five, and he’s the last, while i’m the 4th.
To answer your understandable doubt, he did tests before goin into the house, and he was in perfect condition, while inside the house, his blood pressure went up for reasons only God knows. The medical team tried everything possible to bring his bp down, but to no avail. If you all know the dangers and risks associated with high blood pressure, then you’d know it shouldntbe treatedwith levity.
The medical team advised him to leave, as he wasnt responding to treatment, they said maybe the confinement of the house was causing it, and sadly and disappointing for him,he had to leave.
You can all imagine a sister’s shock wen about 1:30pm on friday the 18th May,2012, a number of my firends called my phone almost simultaneously, saying ‘Shola, what happened to Lekan??(that’s the name he’s called at home)i was in total shock, as they narrated to me his exit and all….it was devastating, shocking and frightening…HBP??? my brother??? how??
We started trying to reach him frantically, we were all weeping. He finally called us, he had lost his voice, but we manged to hear him.
He was devasteted and very sad…we told him, “Thank God you’re alive, dont worry God knows and understands all things’…cos this sudden High blood pressure made no sense to any of us.

Please lets stop spreading wicked, false and untenable roumours.

To those who care about his health …thanks and God bless…he’s doing a lot better now. He’s on medication, and his Blood pressure, gradually has stabilized…

I’d like to thank everyone for thier support while Olalekan was in the BBA house and through all the painful exit.God bless you all.
