Exciting news reaching us this morning is that 6-year old Kosisochukwu Akilo who was kidnapped from her home in Enugu has been rescued.

A source within the Akilo family revealed to Cruise Nigeria that she was found in Warri, Delta state yesterday.

The circumstances surrounding her release remain uncertain as it was earlier reported that the kidnappers were yet to contact the traumatized family.

“She was released today” (yesterday) the source said, “But she’s still in Warri. Tomorrow she’ll be home. But this is great  news, and the entire family is pleased that this horrible dilemma is finally over.”

Kosisochukwu was abducted on Sunday morning May 13, 2012. It’s been almost three weeks since her kidnap and it must have been a terrible time for her family and friends.

She was kidnapped from her home in Enugu state and found in Warri, Delta state. The little angel must have gone through a tough period but thank God she’s been found.

This is certainly the best news I’ve heard all week and a great way to start the new month. Thank God for her safe return. Hopefully by now, she is already at home with her family and friends.
