Join the Miss Nigeria WALK-A-THON supporting Nigerian Flood Victims TODAY

According to the National Emergency Management Agency, a total of 7.7 million people were affected by the recent floods; with 2.1 million people across Nigeria officially registered as internally displaced
citizens.

Approximately 363 people comprising men, women, children and infants have lost their lives and has rendered many homeless and exposed to the harsh aftermath of a natural disaster.

Join the Miss Nigeria Pageant Team in support of the 1 Heart, 1 Purpose, 1 Voice Walk-A-Thon Campaign on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Civic Centre on Registration for the walk is free but we welcome donations in the form of relief materials and monetary contributions.

A lot of us have forgotten our brothers and sisters in the affected areas. A walk-a-thon would demonstrate our sympathy for those that had to flee their homes,” says Elohor Aisien, Creative Director Miss Nigeria.

Starting Location: Civic Centre,Ozumba Mbadiwe, Victoria Island, Lagos

Ending Location: Eko Atlantic Off Bar Beach, Victoria Island, Lagos

Registration for the walk is FREE but donations in the form of relief materials and monetary contributions are welcome. Sign up begins at 7:30am at the registration tent at Civic Centre on Ozumba Mbadiwe, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Customed designed T-Shirts are available for N 2,500 with the proceeds to benefit flood victims.

Relief materials will be collected at collection points on the day of the walk and can be dropped off before or after the event at:
