Honestly!!! :O I’m actually sitting here questioning if there’s a heart beating in this person’s chest! Just wow!

Anyway… This was so sad to watch. I can’t say I could relate to Goldie’s music, but by all means does my heart go out to Denrele and her other friends and family members. Nothing can ever prepare a person for death, but time is a healer and it was nice to hear him say it was getting easier.
May her soul continue to rest in peace.

    • Kim Hyun Joong Oppa April 12, 2013 at 6:12 pm

Like Seriously that’s all you got from the entire video. I am not even sure of what to call on to help you — Saraswati or Vishnu.

  • Esta April 12, 2013 at 11:58 am

    • OlaOluwayimikaaaa April 12, 2013 at 1:00 pm

That was my thoughts too after watching the video… It wasnt just about saying hurtful things about any celeb, everyother person too should be given their “space”….. We really dont know the challenges everyone goes through in their respective spaces/life.

Wow, RIP Goldie. I always liked her. People i know would call her ugly, i always defended her. Denrele is such a good and trusted friend. Some people need to learn that. This made me cry. Only God knows…

  • Dee April 12, 2013 at 12:53 pm

So sad, she was really misunderstood. Obviously she was perfect but no one is,she had a good heart. People need to stop being so cruel! Our words have so much effect and these days with social media we say things without thinking of the consequences.

  • shaun April 12, 2013 at 12:54 pm

  • Tango April 12, 2013 at 2:43 pm

The sad part about this whole thing is that the same people saying they will never say anything nasty will be back next week Monday to ooze out degrading words towards another celebrity. Majority of the people that swore their life about doing better are all back to their old ways. I have come to the realization that internet warriors and a lot of Nigerians don’t appreciate people until they have passed on. What’s the point of saying “AW AW she was such a nice person; you all had so many chances to do it when was living. When she was alive most of you hardly took the time to understand and appreciate who the Real Goldie was. I guess most of you just suck in whatever social media and blogs give to you. You follow the bash bandwagon without pondering and questioning if it’s true.

RIP Goldie You will be truly missed.

  • Madam the Madam April 12, 2013 at 2:48 pm

Just watched the video and wow, I love how Denrele showed us another side of Goldie. I know that it must have been very difficult to do. Listening to him talk about her final moments was like wow. Rest in perfect peace Goldie, she seemed like a really vibrant and fun-loving, energetic soul. So so sad.

  • fashionandstylepolice April 12, 2013 at 2:50 pm

Wow so touching. We should celebrate people while we still can, RIP Goldie.

  • Momo April 12, 2013 at 3:14 pm

No access to video in my office, well till i get home.

  • jb April 12, 2013 at 4:31 pm

Woww… Denrele, may God continue to give you the strength to carry on. I credit you for doing this interview and trying to live life after Goldie. One thing stood out the most: FRIENDSHIP!! Oh, My God! You understand the true meaning of it and exhibit every definition of a good friend. You were and are a true friend to Goldie and its so refreshing to see given the fact that friendship today are like microwave dinners – instant for self-satisfaction. You shed a beautiful light into Goldie’s life and last moment on earth, and the fact that your story has remained consistent and undiluted since the unfaithful event makes you a real friend (So authentic – thank you for staying true to yourself). You were truly God’s gift to Goldie for her last days… particularly during her most trying times to love and comfort until the end… Bless!

This is a lesson for all… celebrate the people you claim you care about by loving genuinely with no ulterior motive and cherishing every moment like there’s no tomorrow.

    Goodnight Goldie….

  • Landon April 12, 2013 at 4:36 pm

Some of you just don’t get it. The video is about a deceased person and all you could focus on was Toolz make-up.

  • comment waiting moderation! April 12, 2013 at 4:40 pm

  • Idak April 12, 2013 at 4:42 pm

Denrele. I’m 100% sure Goldie is at rest now wherever she is. She is very proud of you. You are a definition of a TRUE friend. May almighty God continue to give you the strength to carry on.

    RIP Goldey Harvey.

  • nay April 12, 2013 at 9:21 pm

Denrele is such a good friend.Like he got me so emotional man.I can tell his love for her was sincere. I cried when he said
-“I wanted people to like her”
-“I warned everybody at the airport not to touch her”
There is a video on youtube of when Goldie arrived at the airport and Denrele was hyping her and praising her. That was so touching. THAT IS A FRIEND RIGHT THERE.

  • salsera April 12, 2013 at 9:31 pm

its a lot for anyone to handle, someone dying in your arms. Denrele you try sha

  • Nawa OOO April 12, 2013 at 11:58 pm

wow! my eyes got watery when he was talking about how she died. RIP

  • Truth be told April 13, 2013 at 7:19 am

I’ve judged Denrele in the past because of his appearance but truth is nothing can replace a heart of gold. You were really a friend to Goldie and you are one of the realest people I haven’t met. I’m sorry for your loss and I know this has been hard on you. RIP Goldie!

  • muyiwa April 13, 2013 at 9:12 am

Really touching, I shed a few tears though. We should learn to appreciate others. Life is ironic anyway. As human beings (not only nigerians do this) we always tend to make fun of others….we should also learn to love our neighbours as ourselves too. RIP loved her songs sha…

  • Temizzy April 13, 2013 at 2:22 pm

And i cried after watching this video. Derenle God bless you. Toolz Keep up your good work. Goldie Rest in Peace.

  • kemy April 13, 2013 at 4:24 pm

so touching. rest in peace dear

  • stark April 13, 2013 at 5:04 pm

It’s a real sad story that Goldie died so young may she rest in peace. That interview was not in d slightest moving. It was so unemotional even Tools lacked the kinda emotion I was expecting after reading the comments left I was expecting to cry instead I was just looking at durel abi I don’t even know his name is that how to give an interview for urban best friend???? I don’t care what anybody says the interview was not good enough

    • omada April 13, 2013 at 11:19 pm

i don’t understand. where you expecting Denrele and Toolz to start rolling on the floor for it to be emotional?

  • Purpleicious Babe April 13, 2013 at 8:19 pm

My thoughts are with Denrele and her family. Its tough for anyone to lose anybody that means alot to them. I got emotional re. the story about how she passed away. I am not keen on her personal life as such but I personally dont like it when people pass away SUDDENLY…. I hate the shock factor.. She comes across as a happy person from the interview.

I know she loved life and lived it her way..Life is so short i guess. She is in a better place by His grace..

  • pade April 13, 2013 at 10:47 pm

Wish she was the one sharing this testimony of life and death, God knows best ,Denrele sorry for you loss and her family afterall we are all human and our time will come, cherish all we come across in life we dont know when they wont be there.

  • Choice April 13, 2013 at 10:47 pm

Heart felt friendship and interview ,may her so continue to rest in The Lord bosom.

  • darksnow April 14, 2013 at 12:43 am

Denrele’s last words were so touching. My sweet Goldie i had the opportunity to meet with you when you came out of the big brother house and you were checking out from Protea hotel where you lodged and you were so sweet and warm to me even as young as i was and with your long eyelashes and beautiful and stunning dress you took a picture with me though you were in a hurry and told me to work hard after i said i supported you through out your days in the big brother house when no one in my house supported you. I cried when i heard you where gone though i did not want to believe it because i knew you were misunderstood and i could relate to you, I will miss you so much GOLDIE and i will never forget you i know you are resting sweet Goldie.RIP you will always be in my heart

  • Tunmi April 14, 2013 at 3:58 am

  • whocares April 14, 2013 at 5:59 am

lol. how can she be watching this right now.. aww this is sad, for denrele who lost a friend and for the girl who died so young. and the interview was not good? what else do you expect from an interview Stark? why should Toolz show overt emotion? was the deceased her best friend? kmt.

  • uby April 14, 2013 at 11:23 am

RIP Goldie. I wasnt really a fan of hers till she went for BBA. That’s when I saw the real Goldie. She had an awesome personality, too awesome. Despite, the fact I didn’t like her realtionship with Prezzo but somehow her personality made her outstanding. I love you Goldie. RIP once again.

  • chizzy April 14, 2013 at 3:41 pm

  • Magz April 24, 2013 at 9:25 am

I wasn’t really her fan but her death pained me as though she was my friend. i know a few people who have met her before and they said she was a very nice person. May God continue to console her family and true friends. Denrele, my respect for you just grew over 200%. you are a good friend. RIP Goldie
