On Saturday 23rd March 2013, professionals and business executives, men and women alike, turned up at the posh Wheatbaker Hotel Ikoyi, mostly dressed in Black, White and Pink Power Tycoon outfits. This was no ordinary day; it was the WOW D.I.V.A.S 3rd Possibilities Hangout themed “Unleash The X Factor“. The venue was set in X Factor themed WOW Decorations, black drapes and lots of pink, yellow & white flowers to bring out the exquisiteness of the hall.

The day started with the Flo Band playing a mixture of popular spiritual songs. This was followed by a beautiful song by Uzomaka Okorie, the Practice Manager from Fine and Country. Popular TV personality Frank Edoho alongside Hajara Pitan, Lawyer and WOW DIVA were the MC’s of the day. Udo Okonjo, CEO of Fine & Country West Africa and Founder of WOW D.I.V.A.S was the Possibilities Igniter of the day. Seated at a TV Talk show setting, she asked questions to her guests about purpose passion and their X Factor.

The Senior Pastor from This Present house, Dr Tony Rapu set the scene and discussed aspects of the X Factor from a spiritual perspective. He was then joined by his wife Nkoyo Rapu and Speaker Jumoke Adenowo from Awesome Treasure for a question and answer session .

Another speaker that wowed the audience was the rather cool down to earth Mr. Leo Stan Ekeh, multi-billionaire technology entrepreneur. He said ‘Staying Power is the X factor’.

The speakers really challenged the audience to think out of the box, including  Clare Omatseye, MD JNC International. Dr Maxwell Ubah, from Leadership Coach Profiliant Ltd said that one should ‘Go for the 212 Degree level in all you do’.

The highlight of the day was the Business Round table competition led by Udo Okonjo. The audience were offered a 2 minute spot to pitch their businesses for funding. (Similar to the TV show Dragons Den). The judges included Clare Omatseye;  Emeka Onwuka Chairman, Enterprise Bank; Dr Maxwell Ubah and Ayotomi Rotimi, WOW DIVA member & Fashion designer of Xclamations. The winner, Egodi Adedeji, won a ticket and entrance to an empowerment business conference to South Africa in May. All the other five participants were offered a free entrance to the event normally worth $2,590.

Several WOW D.I.V.A.S were awarded and honoured for their individual passions and businesses start ups. The prestigious X Factor Possibilities Ambassador was given to two WOW D.I.V.A.S namely Theresa Onwuka of Needlepoint in the Business Category and Ifueko Karibi–Whyte in the impact category for her selfless dedication to the Autism Awareness cause.
