Bold step but I av personally seen better work from AYABA. Not impressed with some of the looks eg the maxi dress and d gold sequins….screams tacky . Ur model she av ditched Tha black wedge/clogs *cringes*. All the same AYABA is a very talented lady.

True. I’ve seen awesome designs from Ayaba; these pictures don’t do the label justice. But I love the first two looks.. And the red blouse with the B&W print bottom- great!

Hmmn. I have personally seen Ayaba rock much nicer and better tailored designs herself, so I am surprised these are her efforts as well. Maybe it’s the models/production… I don’t know. She gets a C+ for this freshman effort. I expect her subsequent collections will improve on this…she really is talented and creative. All the best!

Cohesion is lacking in this collection. Looks like sister just drew up a bunch of sketches and tailor-lo-ran-ed it. Anyways, that red lace dress is EVERYTHING!

Buutt…okay, I think I need the definition of “collection”. I see no cohesiveness or even a highlight feature. More like an ad for a clothing store.

I love the fact that the pieces fit perfectly. The leather crop is super cool. How can I get one?

An impressive collection, but there is definitely still room for improvement. To compete with the power houses in this industry she’s gotta bring her A game. The potential of this label to go places however is undeniable #visionparisfashionweek

The white shirt/blouse on those leather pants is really edgy. Love the red strappy dress in the bar too. Unique pieces. Neat job. How do we contact the designer?

Very nice effort, i see a lot of creativity in all her designs! Clearly a lot of people on here don’t have the eyes for creativity dats why they r all commenting like blind rats. You go girl!!!

    i like the pieces…except for #10 of course. i foresee a Janet-Jackson moment there.
however, “arewa” seems a bit of a misnomer for the title as none of the pieces nor material reflect “arewa”… unless the designer is taking liberties with his/her artistic licence, or unless it means s’mthing else.

Ayaba has lovely pieces. The red dress is fab and the collection isnt so bad but its either the models have done a poor job or something isnt quite right. The first thot that popped in my head while viewing was “Oh No, the models have messed it up’ Still she’s young and quite talented so I expect more lovely peices.
