May D - September 2013 - BellaNaija

It’s Mr. May D.

The music star has premiered the video for his song “Get Down”, produced by Oskido.

In the video, we get to see May D showing off his famous dance moves (The moving of the feet with the shoulders).

According to a rep, he also tried some dance moves by high life musician Fela Anikulapo Kuti. I am not sure he nailed the moves, but he did give it a good try.

Also in the video which is set in a posh club, May D and a few friends dance to his track, while some video vixens twerk.

Check it out!

A lot of these songs make absolutely no sense to me and the beats all sound the same. These guys make million from this? Makes me think a lot of our “artistes” are drug couriers who have not been caught. I usually wonder how much they make in record sales and what nots to be able to afford their lifestyles. Just wondering o.

They will soon come and call you a hater.
I have long believed and i have not heard any superior argument yet that our entertainment stars (music and movies) are mostly what you just mentioned or are acting as couriers for corrupt govt officials and politicians (tautology as i think all govt officals are corrupt by design). All these endorsements you read are inflated to show proof of income.

The thing with people like you guys is, you have good points but they are highly irrelevant in certain cases. This song is clearly NOT supposed to have many lyrics, this type of music thrives on redundancy. A person who is hearing this song for the 1st time should be able to sing along within the 1st 30 seconds, like Dubstep.
We don hear una, yes, many Nigerian artistes are lyrically parched but in this case, it is what? IRRELEVANT.

ABEG BN, wey the twerking na?
