Admittedly, i have not checked out any of those other blogs so not familiar with their contents but Linda ikeji’s blog didn’t make the cut?

    • is that so?

      September 16, 2013 at 6:42 pm

Promising female blogger!… Linda is kinda already promised if that makes sense as much as i dont agree with her sometimes….

      September 16, 2013 at 6:51 pm

I believe Linda Ikeji’s blog isn’t nominated because the category is “promising” female blogger. She already has great notoriety and is more established, hence why you are not familiar with the blogs listed in the category 🙂

    • Bliss

      September 16, 2013 at 6:52 pm

Linda isn’t an up and coming blogger. I believe everyone can unanimously agree that she is now a household name.

Seriously somebody put Morayo of TVC on an award list? This is serious! Have you heard that woman present that show? She is the worst presenter ever. How do you make a stammerer a presenter? How? TVC has issues, and Eloy is a big joke. Can you, at least, give a sensible list instead of just packing every Jane and Jaundice on your list? Shame!

    • Madman

      September 17, 2013 at 8:04 am

That’s wicked. What’s wrong with a stammererr? Play nice

    • Ijeoma

      September 17, 2013 at 9:07 am

Nothing wrong with a stammerer. Just as nothing is wrong with a short person; but do you see MI playing basketball? Or Serena Williams contesting for a beauty pageant. Stop washing yourselves! Be real! I watched Morayo and I almost wanted to vomit. If that is the kind of presenters that make nominee lists of any award, then they should shut down Nigeria as a whole. The fact that she is even on TV presenting any show is a slap on all our faces as Nigerians both home and abroad. The silliness is too much! Go and watch the show and see if you don’t share my opinion.

    • chi chi

      September 18, 2013 at 2:21 pm

Hi Ijeoma, there are some broadcasters who are stammerers, our own Andre Blaze is 1 example. I am also a stammerer who aspires to be a radio and tv host and i believe i will achieve this. Now, u can search the internet for stammerers who are in media and communications. Finally, u can also check that tone of yours when you scoff at Morayo and other stammerers who happen to/want to work in the media, and are getting recognition for their work (like Morayo).
      Bye girl.

    • Ijeoma

      September 18, 2013 at 4:27 pm

LOL! You must be very average in thought and in process to think that the matter of being a broadcaster ends at having a speech impediment. How do you even place Andre Blaze and Morayo in the same sentence? Have you watched the show? If you have and this is what you have to write after you did, then you are such a letdown. And don’t bother with that career of yours; if Morayo is your yardstick, you have failed already. Jeez! Someone is actually trying to convince me a terrible presenter is good? trying to make this seem not as bad as it looks. The show will do just fine if they get any of the other ladies to present it. I don’t know their names, but they seem a bit more made-for-TV than her. If local TV is going to get any better, we have to keep sentiments aside and face the truth. And you have a problem with that. Watch your hypocrisy though, it is going to lead you down the mediocre lane- just where it seems you might fit in perfectly. bye!
