We labor in the heart of our beliefs…that our finest hour hangs in the balance of our most brilliant coming of truth. Suspended within the arms of our awaiting accolades…lay the residue…of our humanity…minus the glue.
Happy Independence Day Celebration, fellow citizens.
Lets keep the love flowing…Lets do something good for some deserving folks today.

My heartfelt prayer for Nigeria. “lord stop blessing me if you won’t bless nigeria.

In your mind, you are being patriotic abi? What a foolish prayer. Nigeria has natural resources in abundance, enjoys one of the best climates in the world and so much more. If you think Nigeria is not blessed, you need to go back to bed.

My guess is that he meant that God should move the leaders to do right by Nigeria. You are right in your statement that the country is indeed bless with natural resources and great climate but is curse by poor management which is a direct result of greedy and selfish leaders.

      October 1, 2013 at 3:37 pm

Is either u r a teenager (which can be excuse) or u are a very stupid person with this ur comment!

    • Miss_Flygerian

      October 1, 2013 at 5:51 pm

Chick STFU already. Look who’s calling another person stupid. All these armchair critics who do nothing but bitch about everything. If you want to Nigeria to change, do something, be a part of the change, be positive. Nobody needs your ITK and Debbie Downer opinions.

Like Papa Oyedepo said, all we are waiting for is a Gideon to emerge and make this country a better place by fighting corruption and bad governance, until then……….

We don’t celebrate our birthdays only on the years we term successful or when we are ‘highly-achieved’. We celebrate them every year, through the good , the bad and the grimily-ugly, hoping … and more importantly, striving towards a day when the anniversary will truly be a happy one. Anniversaries are days for sober reflection, on the journey so far and the miles of dusty(or tarred) road stretched ahead. What with all the intellect, opulence and ingenuity being displayed on BellaNaija, we can all agree on the fact that… We have got what it takes to get this nation where we wish it to be… Just Do It!
Happy Independence Anniversary Nigeria, one day we all will make you proud!
