Redeemed? Vindicated? Sesan, is that you?

This video is very wack! That savage scene in the beginning of “Africans” dancing in the bush is so demeaning! That scene could have still captured an authentic quality without the nonsense bush. It just looked like a lazy attempt to convey a cool message.
The scenes of Wizkid at the shrine were boring, period. Burna Boy’s Run My Race was much better at showing a new perspective of the Shrine. Honestly, this is nothing against Sesan personally but he needs to go back and regroup. Not looking good at all.

Honestly speaking this is Sesan best work to me…..the video sold the song ……at a point it looked similar to burna boy ‘run my race’ but it was a good video…loved Femi Kutis part..

Nice video, but why does the beginning look too much like May D’s Django inspired video directed by sesan?

D dance moves na Fela style. It has an authentic African feel. Is that foot bridge the bridge between Afro beats of the past and the future? He try , nice video.

OMGosssh Becky!!! This is awesome!!(white girl voice)…lol.

Chai!!! Mehn…But this video reminds me of how I wanted to be a Fela dancer when I was a smallie……well, until one fateful saturday, some Fela performances came on after Sesame Street and my mum caught me with my top tied up and a wrapper around my waist shaking my chubby rump!!! (p.s. I was good!! at this point I had spent like 3years practicing almost everyday) The woozing of that day, not to menton the cussing that followed for almost a year would have had my mum locked up for assault with deadly weapon against a minor by even the Nigerian police wey no get standards!! Needless to say I had to come up with becoming an engineer…..Number one item on my bucket list is still to get pulled up on stage and get to shake it for Femi and the rest of the world though!!

The video and music do not work for me. What is the link
between ‘Oluwa lo seyi’ and Fela’s ‘She go say i be lady’. I prefer
Tuface and Dr. Victor Olaiya’s collaboration, where the music and
    video have a common theme.

Sarah I totally get you on that one.. Cos I thought so myself. But right away, I thought not to let it spoil the way I felt about the sng and the video. Lets just say it was their way to tie the legendary fela into the whole mix. Cos really, the outfit, the sax, the dance steps… All a tribute to him.
That said… Awesome awesome awesome! Cougar alert whizzy.. But then again, it’s just a few yrs Jorr..

Femi kuti saved the song and video, if not it would have
been the same tiring thing from wizkid. All respect to the kuti.
Yoruba language is so sweet to the ears especially in songs like
this. Omo jaiye jaiye(still dancing). Abeg, where is my yoruba
husband? I have to marry one.
