Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde & Okey Uzoeshi star in Teco Benson’s “Blood in the Lagoon” | Watch the Trailer

Every now and then, a new trailer premieres and has us intrigued and asking for more, Teco Benson‘s new flick certainly fits the bill.

Blood in the Lagoon features one of Nollywood’s biggest stars Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde starring alongside Okey Uzoeshi, Ufuoma Ejenobor, Akin Lewis and Eddie Ugboma.

Official Synopsis
Born into abject poverty and thrust deep into to the drudgery fate has dealt him, George Dibiya (Okey Uzoeshi) ekes out a living in the treacherous murky waters of the waste deluged Lagos Lagoon. Just like thousands of kids in the many slums of Nigeria, his life story is already written and sealed by fate, even before he came into the world.

And this is not of his making. The chances of getting any education and, maybe clawing his way out of the situation is zero to unlikely, at best.

But after the murder of his brother, George sets out to, not allow his brothers dream die. Along the way, he gets entangled with the stunningly beautiful Scarlet (Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde) “Blood in the Lagoon” is an emotionally charged and thought provoking movie that will keep you glued to your seat till the very end.

      I did too but had to rewatch…George is the one whose brother died and he ends up with Omotola. If you can remember his friend with braided hair that he was talking to about abandoning the dream, it looks like that’s the person that ends up helping to kidnap Omotola’s dad. You can see the friend on the bed sayin we are rich….hopefully i’m right.

    Omotola should thank Teco Benson because she was beginning to look jobless with all the PR news. This is her first trailer in years.

      Mumu its not only her that was jobless, most of our a list actors charge rilly high dats why no one can afford them. Atleast she is still relevant unlike d rest that are doing nothing for example van vicker, ramsey,majid, genny and d rest

    Erm… I dont get the synopis??? Whats the relationship between growning up in the slums, chances of getting an education and allowing his brothers dream die!!! This doesnt even create suspense or drawing my to watch the movie.

    Good to see my Omo sexy.Seems the movie was shot years ago,the lacefront omotee has on is an indicator.
