Tripican.com presents Noah - BellaNaija - April 2014001

Hello Tripican Fam!

Trust we all know the Biblical story of Noah well now, thanks to Darren Afronofsky, the story is actually more thrilling, exciting and interesting than you imagined.

In his flawed, fascinating and altogether extraordinary “Noah” this ever-audacious filmmaker has given us a bold and singular vision of Old Testament times — a picture that dares to handle a sacred text with a thrilling sense of personal investment and artistic risk. Crucially, Aronofsky approaches Scripture not with a purist’s reverence but with a provocateur’s respect, teasing out the hard, soul-searching questions that the Word of God, was always meant to inspire.

Can you truly say that this movie is doing all you said in your brief outline. Not to spoil it for anyone but the Noah movie doesn’t even mention God once, not once!

Noah is portrayed as this animal / environmentalist nut job, he cares nothing for people and is quite violent and lets not forget the director who is an atheist. He has twisted and contorted the word of God for sport and cash – he also admitted and I quote – Darren Aronofsky, who produced the movie “Black Swan.” He is way more interested — and I mean way, way more interested — in making Noah “fascinating” than “true to the Bible,” telling the New Yorker, “‘Noah’ is the least biblical biblical film ever made. I don’t give a f— about the test scores (early negative audience reaction to “Noah”). My films are outside the scores.”

Put that in your pipe and smoke it!”

who ever wrote the brief synopsis at the top hasn’t watched the movie and just pulled together a few lines here and there from websites to sell tickets. The movie is so misleading and a true christian will not even bother with this movie. What would it have taken to actually watch this movie and do a proper review kmt!

Sad? What you wrote down doesn’t make sense!! Read through again, ask for God’s wisdom then you’ll understand…You call yourself a christian but your choice of words totally doesn’t depict it… You need wisdom to understand…
