instead of you to report important updates on the missing girls, you have turned pple’s misfortune to a papparazzi nonsense, i dont even know what to call it. we nigerians should bury our heads in shame that this is what the international community is identifying with us on…mtcheew

It’s not paparazzi. It actually helps raise a lot of awareness. I’m currently studying in the US the amount of Nigerians who are unaware of these kidnappings is alarming. It goes a long way to help put pressure on our government to act. Better we open our dirty linen to the public in this case. If not this menace will just keep spreading. I understand where you’re coming from though. It’s a needed pill

The #bringbackourgirls hashtag was what called attention to the issue and put pressure on the government. So to answer your question, placards, demonstrations and social media hashtags work. While, we are on the matter, I will like you to point us to the effort you have personally made. If you can’t, then you really shouldn’t be talking! But then there is the saying “emptyvessels……”

@ Mally, soozie. What is it? They are not Nigerians but at least they are creating awareness about the situation. You, what have you done to bring back the girls? It’s this shallow mind that has held us back.
Even if they are doing it for their own selfish reason(s), more people are aware and those that can help will render help.

If people dint respond, problem. Now they have, still problem. Hian!

I’m not saying it’s not helping, but if this is all they are reporting then that’s a problem. We all know there’s fishy stuff going on wit these girls and that’s what they should be clarifying, not starting a #bbog photo contest. If u can’t go to borno, copy reports from media houses reporting from there. We need concrete info not paparazzi

Honestly I don’t get all these people complaining about celebs. So in your eyes they should do what to show awareness? Fly down to the North and jungle hunt the BK? this is the 21st century, this is how you bring awereness to an issue so that it reaches each and ever corner of the globe and someone somewhere will always make a difference, so in your eyes we all should just be quiet? Some people ehn!! please continue with the awareness, you never know whom it may reach. #BRINGBACKOURGIRLS O
