Italy Pledges to Support Nigeria in Fight Against Terrorism

Fulvio Rustico, Italian ambassador to Nigeria, has pledged his company’s support in helping Nigeria fight terrorism.

He made this announcement last night, during a ceremony to celebrate the Italian National Day in Lagos, Vanguard reports. 

“Italy has known the grief stemming from terrorism for over a decade of its history, and through much efforts, Italy has overcome terrorism today.

Italy will now, therefore, stand by the Nigerian Government in its fight to tackle terrorism’s woes, as well as in mending the sufferings of the people.

We have no doubt that the Nigerian Government and Nigerians will triumph over the evils of the Boko Haram insurgency,’’  he said.
