#BringBackOurGirls – Day 86: Oby Ezekwesili says Reports that 30 More Chibok Girls Escaped is False
Over night, there were reports by a few media outlets that 30 more Chibok girls have escaped from Boko Haram‘s captivity.
Cable NG reported on Wednesday that a source revealed the news of the girls escaping with the help of hunters.
Today, the former Minister of Education, and activist, stated via her official Twitter page that the news is false. She got in touch with the Chibok community and they told her it is no true. However, she says the Chibok Community and #BringBackOurGirls campaigners are in expectatant mode and truly believe that the girls will be released and brought back home.
If the news that #ChibokHunters have helped 30 of our #ChibokGirls to ESCAPE is TRUE, then WE need the FG to URGENTLY ENGAGE the COMMUNITY.
