Catch New Designers, Jason Porsche, JReason & More at Rip the Runway’s 3rd Edition

Are you ready to Rip the Runway?

Following 2 successful editions of Rip the Runway in 2012 & 2013 by the Tudors Group; the fashion & music event will be returning with a 3rd edition happening live in Lagos.

The event aims to promote the talents of individuals in the music and fashion industries by fusing showcases by emerging designers in Nigeria. From Pret-a-Porter to Couture fashion, all types of fashion will be live.

It goes beyond fashion; the event also provides a platform for philanthropic efforts through the Walking The Runway for the Nigerian Child RTR Foundation. A percentage of the proceeds from the event will be donated to a chosen charity organisation to encourage young students to follow their dreams as most of their schools suffer from lack of infrastructure.

Ogunbiyi Olubiyi, the show’s producer, stated; “I have very high expectations for the show this year. If you enjoyed the show last year, you are guaranteed a better experience this year. With this year’s new additions and concepts we plan to make the show more trendy, fierce and over the top. From the designers, music artists, top models and people in attendance, RTR 2014 will surely create a greater impact this year“

The event will feature designers like Jason Porsche, JReason, Conae, John Exzomo, Invasion L’Afrique, Demil, MOA, Jache Ramon, El Peri, Imperfectly Perfect, T16, FS, Frisch and Faydead. There will be all sorts of dancing as UK dance group D3 Dancers will be performing with music from Davido, Patoranking, Danagog HKN, Slyde, Muna, DJ Olu HKN and more. No, that’s not all; Omobaba No.1 will be dishing out the rib cracking jokes, so you don’t want to miss this.
