Emerging Ready-to-Wear label RAAH Showcases Fab Fashion at the 4th AFWL + See their Debut Lookbook
Introducing new Ready-to-Wear fashion brand RAAH!
The label showcased at the recently concluded Africa Fashion Week London (AFWL) 4th edition, and presented their debut collection tagged “Fly/Fly High” to an international audience.
RAAH was created in April 2014 by businesswoman turned fashion designer Rahima Mohamed, and showcased a collection inspired by the celebration of colours from earthy creams, ivories, vibrant reds and timeless black. It also features vintage pieces.
Speaking in her experience at AFWL, Rahima said – “My first AFWL experience was amazing, I learned a lot about the backstage madness and met so many talented emerging designers that inspired me to challenge myself more, so it was really a great experience“. “The first runway experience was fantastic. It was hectic and I was nervous at first but I got over it because the crowd made it easy for me!” she added.
The collection and designer received praise from the New African Woman Editor-in-Chief, Jane Jere and AFWL Founder Ronke Ademiluyi among others on the success of the showcase.
