Finally! Wizkid to Release New Album – “Ayo”

IMG_1636.PNGWe all love Wizkid! Fans have been anticipating a new album from the “Star Boy” since his hit “Superstar” album, released in 2011.

The 24 year old musician posted the artwork & track list for his self-titled album (his real name is Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun) – “Ayo”, which means Joy, on Instagram today.

We’ve all already heard some of the tracks and seen the music videos (e.g. “On Top Your Matter”. As for the others, we can’t wait!

It includes collaborations with international artists Wale & Tyga, and Nigerian artists Banky W, Seyi Shay, Phyno & Femi Kuti.

Did you see Wizkid’s album cover? What did you all notice? This is for those who read the “alafin” post.

      September 8, 2014 at 9:37 pm

Yeah the cover has dark skinned native Nigerian girls, but the videos inside the album will still be filled with foreign light skinned girls. He’s just using the album to sell! Wake up folks!

#nooffence. The tracklist isn’t spectacular. Most of the songs are burn out already. I’m already classifying wizkid with the D’banj category; the entertainers.
